Offerings
Here's what you can expect from our sessions together: slow, intuitive and consent driven massage, with a focus on whole body and nervous system relaxation, using a range of tools including myofascial work, swedish massage, craniosacral techniques, guided meditation, and breathwork. If you're in need of bodywork that addresses your physical or emotional pain and discomfort in a caring and non-judgemental way, or if you simply feel the need for rest, I encourage you to book a session.I happily work with all nervous systems and body types, and I particularly like collaborating with folks who prefer or require a lighter experience. Although I can work deep on specific muscles, this won't be an all-elbows session leaving you in pain the next day. My goal is to reduce suffering, not inflict it!Whether its for acute or chronic pain in the body, anxiety or depression, or any combination of the many psychospiritual vagaries of modern existence, I strongly believe in the use of simple and gentle therapeutic touch to encourage ease and relief in the body and mind. The latest research in pain science and massage efficacy shows that perhaps the single greatest and most consistent benefit of massage is relaxation and stimulation of the nervous system, helpful both for experiences of pain and for symptoms of anxiety and depression.Every decade there are new leading theories as to how or why massage is beneficial, ideas created and then debunked, and ultimately it comes down to one simple point: making time to rest and be cared for with intentional and thoughtful touch from another human being is both relaxing and soothing. And as it turns out, feeling relaxed and soothed are crucial ingredients for healing at a physiological and psychological level, especially as part of a larger health care process.

About Me
My name is Gregory Flores and I’m a licensed massage therapist practicing in Seattle, Washington on the unceded ancestral land of the Duwamish people. From my own personal experience with chronic migraines, generalized anxiety disorder, body dysmorphia, and disordered eating, I have a compassionate appreciation for those struggling with trauma, chronic pain, anxiety, and feelings of disconnect from their bodies.Offering my clients the opportunity to take refuge in their bodies is central to my work. I seek to provide my clients the space to tap back into their bodies, helping to rebuild and strengthen the relationship between their body and mind. It is my hope that my clients leave our sessions feeling more inhabited and at home in their bodies.I see my practice as way to hold space for our weary nervous systems and to explore ease and rest, reorienting attention towards the connectedness and wholeness inherent within our bodies. This is an experience that is too often taken away from us through the psychic, spiritual and physical ramifications that come from the white supremacist capitalist patriarchy we are all constantly navigating.I spend my days making music and art, reading, going for walks, joking and goofing around with loved ones and sitting quietly in the rental home I share with my partner Maggie and our cat Lefty.I am fully licensed in the state of Washington and insured through my membership with the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals organization. I graduated in March of 2022 from the 750 hour massage licensing program run by DiscoveryPoint School of Massage.
